Olympic gold medalist coach of the Italian women’s national volleyball team at the Paris 2024 Games, the first in history, Julio Velasco has built the foundation that has taken Italian volleyball to the highest international level over the past 30 years.
He was the legendary coach of the so-called Generation of Phenomena, the historic Italian men’s national team that won three consecutive World Cups in the 1990s, capturing the title of Best Team of the Century, and his coaching methodologies established him as one of the most visionary and innovative coaches in world sports.
A former sports manager and technical commissioner of numerous national and club teams, with 2 world titles, 3 European titles, 5 World League titles and an Olympic gold medal, he has been inducted among coaches into the Italian FIPAV Volleyball Hall of Fame and the International Volleyball Hall of Fame.
His methodologies of team management and individual and collective leadership development are now an absolute benchmark for thousands of entrepreneurs, managers and companies throughout Italy.

What are the ways to participate in Leadership Day?
In presence, choosing between the front rows (Suite) and seats in the Business area. Both tickets include a lunch break.
In streaming, with the opportunity to ask questions to Julio Velasco, interact with other attendees and build new business relationships.
Where and when will the event be held?
The Leadership Day will be held on 4 April 2025 at the Unahotels Expo Fiera Milano, via Keplero 12, Pero (MI).
How can I join the live streaming event?
To join the streaming, simply purchase a ticket and connect on the day of the event by following the instructions that we’ll send to the email address provided at registration.
Streaming is available from any device. For the best experience and to participate in the networking, we recommend that you connect from your desktop, laptop, or tablet device.
In the days following the live streaming, we will notify you by email when the recording of the entire event will be available in the On Demand Area: you will be able to watch it whenever you want for 7 days.
Can the event be financed by interprofessional funds?
Absolutely. It is possible to use interprofessional funds to finance participation in our events, either by using your own training account or through the tender/bidding procedures and training vouchers.

Yes, in both the streaming and live versions it will be possible to ask questions to Julio Velasco.
Will I receive follow-up materials after the event?

What happens if I register and cannot attend?
If you are unable to attend, by notifying us at info@performancestrategies.it, at least 15 days before the event, you have the following options:
- have yourself replaced by someone else;
- attend one of the events in the following 12 months;
- choose to follow the event in streaming and request the activation of your access link.
What happens if I register and the event cannot take place due to force majeure?
Your credit is always guaranteed: if the live event cannot be held due to force majeure, you can still experience it in the live streaming version or keep your credit for a future event of the same value.
